Welcome to Anastasia’s music room!
I'm a piano and theory of music teacher with over twenty years of experience.

If you practise, but aren’t improving quickly enough, if you don’t know how to reach the next level, if you struggle with your sight-reading, can’t play certain styles or your hands get tired easily, or if you’ve been studying theory for ages, but are still not ready for the exam, then you’re in the right place!

Browse to find out more about me and how I can help you get your piano playing and/or music theory where you want it to be! I hope you will also find something useful in the articles section.

About Me
I've started studying music when I was 6. At the age of 21 I've graduated from a Gnesins' Music college - one if the most prestigious in Russia. At that point I was already teaching at Gnesins' music school and got the second place at the international duet competition. I did two degrees - Piano and Theory of Music so I have a vast knowledge in both areas.

I've been teaching piano and music theory since 2000. After moving to London in 2006 I've started preparing students for ABRSM piano and theory exams and I have a zero-failure rate.

Apart from preparing for exams I teach piano from zero to diploma level and teach any style from Classical to Pop.

My youngest student was three, my oldest one - 75 and I find an individual approach to every one of my students.
